This patient had rectus diastasis (wide abdominal muscles) and some extra skin after giving birth to 2 wonderful children. She did not have the excess fat and skin that would require a full abdominoplasty, but she could benefit from an extended mini-abdominoplasty. We fixed her muscular diastasis and took out the extra skin and fat that created a fullness she did not like in her lower abdomen. She loves her new flat tummy and how it makes her feel when she wears clothes and bathing suits!
